Being a stranger in a new city can be both exciting and daunting, and London is no exception. Having a love for photography, I couldn’t resist capturing images that I felt in love with. However, when I gathered these images to compile into a piece of work, I felt that most of these pictures do talk about my feelings. Photos with a lot of negative space and solitary subjects convey a sense of isolation and loneliness which was JUST ME!

Leaving one’s child in another country can be a difficult decision for any mother. It’s natural to feel a mix of emotions including sadness, worry, guilt, and even fear. The bond between us is a multifaceted relationship that is difficult to put into words. Leaving her wasn’t an easy task for me. I felt I was lost halfway. Thus, this is just an outcome of that passage in my life!
