Right to Food - Competition

The "Right to Foods" Photography Contest is organized by the FAO, WFP, and IFAD of the United Nations, in collaboration with the Photographic Society of Sri Lanka (PSSL).
It is open to Sri Lankan citizens and permanent residents, excluding staff members of the organizing bodies and PSSL's executive and administrative staff.
The contest runs from September 10 to September 30, 2024, and participants can submit up to four photographs digitally to competitions@pssl.lk.
The theme is "Right to Foods – for a better life and a better future," and each photo must include a caption and a 100-word description.
Prizes include cash awards and certificates, with the top 60 submissions displayed in an exhibition.
Entries will be judged on originality, creativity, relevance to the theme, and photographic techniques.
The organizers reserve the right to disqualify entries and verify participant eligibility.
Participants must own the copyright to their photos, which should not have been used commercially or won previous contests.
